Using this site with a disability

This page explains how the site is built, what we know is still limited, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

What we have implemented

  • Keyboard and screen reader support

Every control can be reached and operated by keyboard, focus is always visible, and the page is built from real landmarks and headings rather than generic containers. The image viewer traps focus while open and returns it to where you left it.

  • Motion is your choice

If your device requests reduced motion, scroll and reveal animations are turned off rather than merely shortened.

  • Text you can actually read

Body text meets the WCAG AA contrast threshold against its background, text can be zoomed without the layout breaking, and no content is locked behind hover alone.

  • Forms that explain themselves

Every field has a real label, errors are announced to assistive technology and tied to the field they belong to, and nothing is validated by colour alone.

  • Honest error and empty states

If something fails — including the enquiry system not being configured — you are told plainly. We do not show a success message for something that did not happen.

  • No tracking by default

No advertising trackers, no embedded third-party map that sets cookies on page view, and no analytics running without your permission.

What is still limited

We would rather list these plainly than imply a level of assurance we cannot back up.

  • The site has not yet been through an independent accessibility audit, and no formal WCAG conformance level is claimed.
  • No automated or assistive-technology test suite runs yet; current verification is manual, using keyboard navigation and browser accessibility trees.
  • Hotel accessibility features — step-free access, accessible rooms, lifts, accessible washrooms — have not been confirmed by management, so we do not state them here.
  • Photography on this site shows the property itself, and every published image carries descriptive alternative text. An image added without a written description does not ship.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site is hard or impossible to use, or you need to know about accessible rooms and step-free access before you travel, get in touch. Describe your access need and the hotel team will answer specifically rather than with a general statement.

Please include the page you were on and what happened, plus the browser or assistive technology you are using, if that is easy for you.
